Lea Holmberg
Yoga Instructor,

Lea has been practising Yoga for 30 years, which she started after incurring a back injury in her nursing career.

Lea is a qualified and accredited Level 2 Yoga Teacher. In 2014 she completed a two year in depth course in a holistic and all encompassing yoga style - Satyananda Yoga similar to Hatha Yoga.  Lea is also an accredited Yoga Nidra Instructor, a specific and powerful deep relaxation practice. A full membership with The Satyananda Yoga Teachers' Association and an affiliate membership of Yoga Australia are held.

She has been teaching classes since the beginning of 2015 both privately and in group settings to adults, pre-school, primary and secondary children. All abilities are catered for by Lea, with chair yoga now being offered (for those not able to manage on the floor).

Hosting relaxing weekend yoga retreats at various locations is also a passion of Lea's. Sole yogis, couples, groups of friends are all welcome -  feel free to get in touch if this is something you may be interested in.

She has worked in all areas of nursing including Intensive Care, Theatre, Accident & Emergency, Medical & Surgical and Midwifery.  She has also worked as a Practice Nurse within a GP clinic for over 15 years.

You are in safe hands with Lea as she is a Registered Nurse with 40 years of experience, who currently works part time as a Remote Area Nurse (RAN) - which involves additional qualifications through Ambulance Victoria.  She is competent with full CPR and Level 2 first aid skills, as well as being an Asthma Educator.

Lea understands the benefits of practising yoga to assist with PTSD and other mental health and emotional health issues.
